Things I’m Loving Spring Outfit Edition

We haven’t had much spring around my parts (the Midwest) yet. We’ve had a couple of nice days that have teased us, but even earlier this week it was snowing enough to cover the ground. Since the winter has been incredibly long, incredibly snowy, and incredibly cold, I am beyond ready for spring! And I am absolutely ready to pack away the heavy sweaters and tights and bring out the lighter skirts and single layer outfits! The weather may not be ready, but I am ready for a good spring outfit or two!

In the hopes that spring is actually on it’s way, here are a couple of my favorite spring outfits that I busted out once each already, before the weather got cruel and cold again!

Things I'm Loving Spring Outfits

Outfit 1: This outfit is the perfect blend of dressy casual and comfortable. I can wear a spring outfit like this to work, to church, or just out with the family or friends. And I can’t get enough of how comfy maxi skirts are!! The outfit pictured is: Maxi skirt from Old Navy, tank top from Target, denim shirt from AE, pink scarf from Target, and silver flats from Payless Shoes.

Outfit 2: This is my go to outfit for weekends when I need something nicer than yoga pants and a tee, but, well it is the weekend. Lunch with friends, a birthday party to take the kiddos to, even a movie date with The Coach. I love how a simple tee and jeans can be dressed up with a pretty scarf and some sparkly shoes. The outfit pictured is: skinny jeans from Old Navy, Long sleeve tee from Target, scarf from Bohemia, and silver sandals from Target.

What’s YOUR go to spring outfit? Better yet, have you been able to WEAR a spring outfit yet?? :)

Comments

  1. I like both outfits. My style is pretty similar. I love tee shirts and jeans. I also love wearing flats.

    • Me too! That’s what I love about spring and fall temps – cool enough for jeans but warm enough to not have to layer up so much! And I’m tall and am often running after little boys, so flats are a staple for me!!
